Everything we produce is about encouraging and inspiring all of us to have a go at new things, expressing ourselves creatively and spending time with our family and friends. In this modern world it is easy to lose sight of the simple, enjoyable activities that bring colour and warmth to our lives and the lives of others.

Our own philosophy is to get involved in the community. That is why, within the magazine, we are striving to deliver more and more real stories of real people who enrich their own lives and the lives of those they love through their actions and generosity.

There is so much talent in the Australian community. The great thing about craft activities, though, is that nothing has to be perfect. The fun is in having a go.

If you are feeling daring though, because of the great people we have on staff and all the contributors who send us through project ideas, we are able to offer some more challenging projects for those of you who are seasoned crafties. 'Get Creative', also offers up lots of simple ideas for beginners - whether it be sewing, card making, cooking or more - as well as ideas to stimulate the minds and nimble fingers of children.

'get creative' allows you to have a go at new projects. Nothing is expensive, from the magazine itself to the materials we recommend, nothing has to be perfect but there is one thing we'll guarantee. You'll love the results and you'll enjoy the process and those around you will be inspired to get creative too!
